Killahurtz are Mick Park and Lea Kenny. Mick is well known as one half of the highly successful DJ duo, Parks and Wilson, and production outfit Tilt.
Tilt are the UKs most successful progressive house act, with hit singles that include 'I Dream', 'Invisible', 'Rendezvous' and the 'Seduction Of Orpheus', on labels such as Perfecto and Hooj Choons. They have also had a successful album, entitled 'Explorer', released in 2005 on the Lost Language label. See Mick Park's page for a full biography of Tilt and Parks and Wilson.
Killahurtz were formed in 2000 and originally consisted of Nic Britton, Lee Fredericks and Mick Park. Their first single 'West on 27th' was a massive club and chart hit, and catapulted Killahurtz onto the world-wide club scene, as one of the best underground production teams around.
When Nic Britton left the act, Mick brought in Lea Kenny (Kenny to his mates), who had worked with Mick on other projects. A respected producer in his own right, Kenny has worked with Fluid and producer Barry Jamieson, who co-produced Sasha's latest album, 'Involver'.
Mick and Kenny have enjoyed immediate success with their productions, and their remix of Stel Traffik's 'Greed', and the mighty U2's next single 'All Because Of You' (due out in June 2005), have received critical acclaim.
The guys are currently working on an album project for Dave Seamen's signature label Therapy. And the first single from the album entitled, 'Kiss For The Dying', is released in June 2005, and features a remix from break beat supremos Hybrid.
To support the releases on Therapy, Killahurtz are taking their sound live to the world, described as an interactive show with visuals that will blow you away.
Ladies and gentleman we give you Killahurtz!
