Sydney

DJ Sydney is a young Aussie DJ, based in Italy, who is forging a big career for himself on the European house scene.
At the amazingly early age of nine years, Sydney got his first taste of mixing, thanks to his cousin, house music producer Stefano Gramola (producer of two tracks released on Robert Miles' Children EP). The young Sydney was hooked and a DJing career became inevitable.
By the age of 17, DJ Sydney had made a name for himself in his home town and was playing at some of the top clubs in Sydney. But his ambitions lay in Europe, so he packed his bags and moved to Italy. He hasn't looked back since.
Championing the tribal and techy side of house music, Sydney has become an in-demand international DJ, and now finds himself playing clubs and festivals in Slovenia, Croatia and the UK as well as Italy.
His career has really snowballed in Slovenia, where he's played all the major festivals alongside the likes of Steve Lawler, Billy Nasty, Jeff Mills, Dr Kucho, Bob Sinclar, Max Graham and many more.
In 2000, Sydney ventured into radio with his own four-hour show on Radio Fantasy, and a weekly show, every Saturday, on Radio Peterpan.
Sydney also has a wealth of house music productions under his belt, which has won him plenty of interest from UK and European record labels. Look out for a debut EP in 2005.
With his growing reputation as an international DJ and a respect for his knowledge of the European house scene, Sydney now finds himself writing for the Around The World news section in i-DJ Magazine.
